State Sponsored Murder
When a body expires 99% of the causes are the body's inability to pump oxygen to the heart. After exploring the unique identity of the psyche, this event can be very unfortunate, especially if experienced at a young age. It may be unable to convey the philosophical depth that meditative thinking can bring concerning the complexity of life, however, the true essence of awareness must be understood before the values of a life are determined a necessary to take away. The punishment system used in most societies follows a doctrine that is indented to discourage future behavior. With this in mind we will observe the 'lesson' to be learned from dying and why 47 of the 50 European nations have abolished it.
For whatever reason, perhaps the much needed social evolution is halted, people love to observe pain instinctively as a form of reconciliation. However, the death penalty was created to punish those for crimes which an aristocratic parliament deems valid. On a secular note, as all government decisions should be, the life all whom experience will only happen once and therefor the maintenance of life is extremely necessary before nothingness. The death penalty deems that one event committed by a man in the entire span of his life can be punished by ending his existence entirely. 3/4 of America believes in the death penalty, some of which are passionately inclined to keep it. It is in my opinion that the 88% of America that is religious uses this law as a "Quick trip to hell". Assuming Hell did exist, would one act be punishable immediately by an eternity in hell?
Some semi-sociological arguments are that the person is useless to society and therefore useless enough to be killed off. If this is so, every life without parol sentence (Which is ever increasing due to a ban on having parol, which is entirely bullshit) should be also killed off as to not waste money on a caged human. If we are to remove the invalids to society's well being, we might as well euthanize the entire country. Mental institutes, handicap accessibity, all of which is expensive costs to people whom are limited at aiding society.
